I hope you have found the GC Calculator of some use. If you would like to support it there are a number of things you can do;

Help with translations

The program already has some support for French, German, Spanish, and Italian. You can see these by selecting the flags at the top of the calculator page.
Unfortunately my language knowledge is minimal. If you are competent in any language other than English your assistance in translating the page and applet label would be appreciated. The table below lists the applet's labels....

Donate a map

I would like to implement the GC calculator for smaller regions - countries, continents, oceans, etc.. In terms of programming the effort is minimal. The main problem is obtaining copyright-free, accurate Mercator projection maps in a digital image format. Political, Physical, any image format (GIF, JPG, PNG, etc... )

Ideas for improvements

If you have any ideas please let me know. I can't promise to implement everything however.

Linking to the Applet

If you provide me with some substantial assistance (see above) you can link direct to the applet. This allows you to include the calculator within your own HTML for whatever purpose. For example, Andrea Lawendel at www.radioascolto.org kindly provided a complete Italian translation of both HTML and Applet text. They link direct to the applet via this page.
You need to contact me prior to attempting a direct link, it won't work otherwise.
